Digital Account Executive:
Digital Account Executives are responsible for making advertiser customer contacts, negotiating with prospective customers to have digital advertising in prime online spaces, managing relationships with current customers, and ultimately being the paid digital marketing expert for their business.
As a small marketing agency of sorts, this position involves full life cycle management for your list of advertiser clients from sale to collections. Your goal is to keep all of those things together in a way that will be profitable for all concerned.
What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
In short, 60% office 40% out and about – client meetings, prospecting, making client presentations and optimizing campaigns once placed. This varies based on the number of clients and the nature and complexity of the campaigns themselves, in addition to general advertising seasonality.
Consistently:
Weekly, in-office team meetings: Sales, Promotions
Campaign maintenance: updating creative, updating targeting, suggesting optimizations based on analytics.
Research and emailing prospects and current clients.
Prospecting new leads
Staying up to date on current internet/social trends
Client meetings – in-office, or wherever! This role involves travel as needed.
Cold calls occasionally! But strategic communication always wins.
Hitting Budgets!
Responsibilities:
Developing new business for digital advertisers.
Hitting your individual budgets for digital.
Develop new ideas and new techniques to secure digital dollars for the radio station.
Manage client campaigns in digital sales software platforms.
Maintain contact with clients to develop and grow client accounts.
Maintain company CRM for your clients.
Take direction from GSM and Director of Digital Sales.
100% of your income is derived from the commissions you earn through the sales you generate.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience managing digital advertising campaigns for small – medium local business
Minimum 1 year experience in an outside sales role
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient in Social Media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
BONUS: bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, digital communications

The Bay is looking for students to be a part of this exciting semester internship for school credit.
You will assist The Bay Promotions Director with daily duties including contests, promotions, event planning, copy writing and other duties.
You will also assist with appearances, live broadcasts and on-site at concerts.
