Last year, right around this time, I visited Troeg’s Independent Brewing in Hershey and met with Co-Founders, John and Chris Trogner and in a wide ranging conversation, talked about their careers, the brewery’s history, their beers and their team. Now that we are well into the holiday season, I thought it would be the right time to revisit that meeting and put the spotlight on Mad Elf Ale, their amazing Christmas Ale, and talk about their process for developing recipes.
