Vince McMahon Stepping Down From WWE

WWE Chairman and CEO, Vince McMahon is stepping down from those roles in WWE after news of a 3 million dollar hush payment to a former employee with whom he had an alleged affair broke. McMahon made the announcement saying ” I have pledged my complete cooperation to the investigation by the Special Committee, and I will do everything possible to support the investigation,” McMahon said in the statement. “I have also pledged to accept the findings and outcome of the investigation, whatever they are.”

McMahon’s daughter and Chief Brand Officer of the company, Stephanie McMahon, has been named interim chairwomen and interim CEO.
