This year marks the 25th anniversary of Firestone Walker Brewing Company, an outstanding brewery located in Paso Robles, California. Adam Firestone and David Walker, two brothers-in-law in Los Olivos, California, took their shared passion for beer and founded Firestone Walker Brewing in 1996. Then because of the exceptional quality of their beers and the associated demand, Firestone Walker moved into a larger space in Paso Robles in 2001 and brought on Matt Brynildson as their Brewmaster.
I have enjoyed many Firestone Walker beers over my years of celebrating craft beer. But coincidence or not, in this, their 25th anniversary year, Firestone Walker has created an outrageously delicious new beer that’s a variation on their 6.2% ABV Mind Haze IPA.
Double Mind Haze is a Double IPA, using the Mind Haze IPA recipe as a base and adding even more hops. Firestone Walker Brewmaster Matt Brynildson tells the story.
Go on a craft beer adventure this weekend! Pick up both Mind Haze IPA and Double Mind Haze IPA and enjoy life!
Cheers!
