Today is the day! And at 6am this morning, the line was wrapped around the block! The 16th Annual Belgian Beer Fest at Max’s Taphouse kicked off at 11am this morning and runs until 2am tonight, and then goes from 11am to 2am tomorrow and Sunday! The start is marked by a ribbon cutting ceremony and then the first person in line—only the first person in line—enters Max’s and gets to choose any seat in the house—and then Max’s Belgian Beer Fest begins! Casey Hard from Max’s Taphouse in Fells Point fills us in on this year’s celebration.

This is a must-attend event with people coming to Baltimore from everywhere. Here’s Bob Simko from Max’s Taphouse.
I asked Casey Hard for some recommendations on Belgian beers to drink for someone who is new to the style.
Max’s Taphouse is at the corner of Broadway and Lancaster in Fells Point and is an amazing place. Make this weekend a weekend to remember and experience the 16th Annual Belgian Beer fest at Max’s!
