CBoTB-Independent Brewing’s Community Impact

Phil Rhudy first opened the doors to Independent Brewing in Bel Air on October 30, 2015.  Since then, Phil and his team have gone beyond brewing outstanding beers and expanding their space, they’ve become an important part of life in the town of Bel Air.  Phil and I got together this week over a couple Independent craft beers and talked about the ways that Independent Brewing has integrated itself into the Bel Air community over these last four years.

The Yappy Hour that Phil mentioned happens tomorrow in their taproom from 12noon-5pm to benefit the American Cancer Society.  So, yes, Independent Brewing is pet friendly.  And the “trail” Phil referred to is the Ma & Pa Trail, a walking, running and biking trail in Bel Air and Forest Hill; a trail that has been in two parts, until now.  The process of connecting these two sections is now finally underway.

Next week, Phil gives us insight into the training that his staff of beer-tenders goes through that helps make a visit to Independent Brewing one that you want to do again and again!

Until next week…

Cheers!
