Oyster Stout from RavenBeer!

Last Saturday, I visited the new home for RavenBeer. RavenBeer has entered into a partnership with DuClaw brewing and is now brewing all of their beer at the RavenBeer/DuClaw Brewery on Yellowbrick Road in Rosedale.

I visited the brewery last Saturday and spent some time with Stephen Demczuk, the Founder and President of RavenBeer. I asked Stephen how this move came about.

RavenBeer’s line-up is impressive: Raven Special Lager, celebrating its 20th anniversary of being brewed here in Baltimore, Pendulum Pilsner, Tell Tale Heart IPA, The Cask—a Double Bock, Annabel Lee—a Belgian-style Wit, and Dark Usher—a German-style Kolsch. And, coming soon, a new craft beer: an Oyster Stout. I had a chance to talk with Ted Cooney, the Founder of Madhouse Oysters and asked him about the creation of this new craft beer from RavenBeer.

And it is… or was… delicious! It has a nice warmth to it and comes in at around 6.3% ABV. Right now, you can only savor RavenBeer’s Oyster Stout and the RavenBeer/DuClaw brewery, so stop by this weekend and be one of the first to drink this excellent craft beer!
